Hey, I'm fairly new to building a PC.

Budget: $1,200ish (or less if I dont need to spend much to max out overwatch.)
More specific use (what games, what programs):Overwatch, and games like it
Planned time until purchase: ASAP
Do you need an Operating System?: I can have a cracked one i think? But yeah probably.
Do you have any specific preferred components?:Don't know much..
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: Just using stereo speakers / headphones
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: Maybe?
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: Just Monitor, Keyboard.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 91010

And I know there are a lot of crazy looking cases out there, I don't like it. I'd like something simple that doesn't light up.

Wondering if anyone can help me or link me to some guides or prices of a setup that will run Overwatch maxed out.

Willing to dump the rest of my FG if you help me out and I end up buying something.

And I know its much cheaper buying individual parts, but also like the idea of buying a complete setup. So I don't need to bother building it. (I will if I have to)

Black Friday Deals?

I went with "or less" because you don't need that much to max overwatch. Of course this is a build you need to do yourself however.

thanks man, sorry for my lack of knowledge on the subject, but wont that cpu be pretty dated after awhile?
want something that'll last me in the long run for this is the last computer i'll be buying for awhile.

-- Wouldn't mind spending another $150/200ish for something a little better.

Make up your mind. Do you want something cheap, or something that will last a while. Pick one.

Not sure what you mean by that? All technology becomes dated very quickly.
But, If you mean, will it's performance suffer over time? Not very much!
i have a gaming pc in my living room using an i3 550 and it runs games like fallout 4 @ 1080p high settings no problem.

I assure you that in 3-5 years you will still have a very competent gaming PC using the i3. You can also go with Ghots build no problem, but it will date at the same rate. The only difference will be you will have more power, so even though your stuff will be dated, it won't be as bad when new stuff comes along.

Here is my submission if I were to offer something similar to ghots.

If you won't overclock the other i5 is a bit of a waste. So i cut that out and used a non-overclocking i5 and did storage differently. If you need more space, it may be mroe cost effective to simply up the ssd space, depending on just how much storage you need. in any event, I have achieved almost the same build as ghot for much less since i took off the premium he paid for overclocking parts.
