She currently has an old-ish prefab computer that I put a graphics card and a power supply in a few months ago. She is looking to upgrade

Currently she has:
Intel i5 2300 @ 2.80 Ghz
MOBO: Gateway DX4860

She wants to reuse the new RAM (664 MHz, does it matter?), the GTX 960, and the power supply. She currently has a 1 TB hdd and is considering buying a SSD to make her boot drive and use the TB as secondary.

What are her best options for mobo/cpu?

Edit: also, her tower is a little tight with how they have it setup, and the ventilation is crap, will likely talk her into getting a new case.

She plays ARK, WoW, plethora of other steam games, etc

And what ram? I guess it's ddr3 1333mhz maybe 8gb?

If from prebuilt its most likely crap

DDR is double date rate so you gotta double that hz.

She bought one when she got her graphics card because I sold her that as well, it should be fine to keep... its a thermaltake tr2 series 600W non PFC
