I'm considering the following setup and would like some feedback.

i5-6600k with cooler master hyper 212x
kingston hyperx fury 2133 mhz 16 gb
asus b150m-a
fractal design define s
750w cooler master 80+ psu
240 gb sandisk plus ssd
asus dual gtx1060 3g

goal is to play games at reasonable high fps and be somewhat silent.

anywhere I could get more value for money?

Either go 6500 to save some money or 6600k with a Z170 chipset. b150 is a no go with a K CPU
Do Corsair or EVGA PSU.

Lets get your budget and see what we can make you.

makes sense, I'll go up into a z170 chipset then. prolly asus one... mayb the z170 pro gaming one.

I have a budget of ~ 1000 euro or so.

I have had problems with Corsair PSU before (fan too loud, speeding up etc.) and good experiences with cooler master (hence that decision).

Things change. Corsair makes decent quality cheap PSUs and EVGA makes good quality nicer PSUs. Seasonic does as well.

Things changes from generation to generation. Never be a fan boy, always have look at reviews and keep updated.

Corsair RMX and EVGA G2 series are both amazing. Specially considering the price.
