I have been looking into getting this monitor: https://www.amazon.com/VG248QE-1920x1080-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B00B2HH70G0

for gaming but really i do not game all the time, i do watch alot of live streams on twitch etc. was thinking that may be getting a psi monitor for more clearer picture i do like that alot just not sure how much use i would get out of a 144Hz 1ms monitor if im not gaming much.

if i go with this monitor can my new gaming pc handle it?

my specs:

Processor AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor

Video Card AMD Radeon (TM) R9 380 Series

RAM 16 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 14393), 64-bit
---

if i decide to get a more better clear looking monitor what would be the better one to get and why?

Not a matter of how much gaming but what games.
144hz is best for fps games and 60hz is fine for everything else.
IPS panels have better colours and viewing angles.

I'm about to buy 3 of these
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16824236583
or
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=2W2-000Y-00007

The price is low and there decent.
If you want something bigger in size go 2k but there closer to 300$
