My pc has a 60gb ssd just for windows but it's completely full and I can't update anything, What size should I get?

Also I've never gotten a new hard drive from scratch, is there a way to just transfer my OS and stuff from my current SSD to a new one or will I have to start completely fresh?

Depends on your budget.
I'm all in for SSD storage only in my PC.
But the 250GB point is sufficient for OS, Programs and multiple games.

I would recommend a fresh install. Just put the data you wanna save on an HDD before formatting.

I would recommend one of these http://pcpartpicker.com/list/VF3sKZ

But there are others in the price range just as good.

Would 120 be enough for just windows 10/drivers? I use a 3tb for everything else. Just trying to get something cheap since I need it asap

Sure its enough. Won't be as price efficient.
Seems like its 35% more expensive per gigabyte. From 250gb to 120gb
From like 250gb to 500gb its only a few % cheaper per gigabyte.

$0.337 per GB 120GB
$0.250 per GB 250GB

I also recommend a 240gb.
if you want loading time reduction your games will need to be on the ssd as well, so it would be useful for that function.

But as you put it, 120 would be more than enough for os/drivers/basic things.

Newegg has the 750 evo 250gb for $69.99 right now, seems like a pretty good deal.

Or should I just put windows on my 3tb hdd? My PC isn't even that great so idk if it's worth it

Even old system would benefit from an ssd. The whole system would feel more responsive.
