Ya I usually keep these computers too long, don't want additional wear with the oc. I can't accommodate that case, due to size limitations. A regular shell would be compatible ya?

If you keep it at a respectable temperature. The CPU should live for a long time. I got a mate still running on an OC'd Q6600 from 2007. Still in a media PC now.
And K models tend to be viable for a longer period of time.

What would you change if oc was an option? Lower cpu for higher gpu?

6700 to a 6700k
The Motherboard to a Z170 chipset.
Plus an CPU cooler.
I would be another 100-150$ tho. So i would have to cut corners somewhere else.
Tho the build would be better "future proofed"

If you had to save the last 150$ it would be the monitor, kinda sad since is soo great, and the build is well rounded.
Already from stock the 6700k is 0.6GHz higher than 6700. 18% higher clock, and if you want you should be able to do another 0.5GHz(4.5GHz), so total 32% higher clock.
So overall should be viable for longer time without bottlenecking. probably like 2 generations longer so 2-3 years compared to a 6700.

A bit. Stock cooler is still annoying to install. But overall quite easy, I've installed a few Corsair H series without any hassle.
