My laptop is dying (5+ years old)
now that i finally have a place i call home, i want to build a computer
Limit: 1,500
Location: Minnesota
Current Idea I'm thinking, buy would like some help before buying everything

Fan : not sure what is best
Mobo : MSI Z170A Gaming M7
RAM : 2x 8gb DDR 4

Monitor: ?????

1.5k build, u shd be looking at 1080 or 1070

What are you going to use this PC for?
either get a 6700k with a z170 chipset or you might as well go for a lowerend chipset with a none k CPU.
850W PSU is way to overkill for an i7 + gtx 1060.

okay,
i plan on using it for high def games, streaming, school, visual effects editing and a whole bunch more.

if you need monitor, downgrade to 1070 and use the remaining budget on an IPS monitor or 144/1ms tn monitor if you're into competitive FPS games.
