Budget: 500 max (for new parts)
More specific use (what games, what programs): overwatch +
Planned time until purchase: no eta
Do you need an Operating System?: no
Do you have any specific preferred components?: R7 360 and midtower case rando and HD- already have
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: stock is fine
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): South east, usa

I would prefer something that can run overwatch on a budget

I currently have a
GIGABYTE Radeon R7 360 DirectX 12 GV-R736OC-2GD (rev. 2.0) 2GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 ATX Video Card
(sadly onl 2gb..) thatd id prefer to use

Also dont need a HD, but still may pick one up.

Looking at maybe the
FX 6300
or something comparable in that price range

-- I will be looking for some of this stuff second hand, so def interested in suggestions.

Rough budget cap is 400-500 (if everything was new)

Thanks

Please do not go for FX 6300. The IPC is horrible.

If you wanna cut some corners.

Evo 212 | to none -$25
i5 6500 | to i5 6400 -$24
i5 6500 | to i3 6100 -$88
Cruical MX300 | to none -$69

I do recommend i5-6500 with the decent evo 212 cooler and an SSD for windows, programs and main games.
Use the HDD for storage and the rest of the games.

Not sure why you're putting an evo on a processor that doesn't oc, nor is the op interested in overclocking.

Oh didn't notice that case part.
Well keeping it quieter and cooler for possible longer life span. worth the $25

I'm not sure what changed between a typical recommendation of a 4570 w/o a cooler awhile back and this gen.

Care to elaborate?

I apprecaite all the replies,

I think I will be looking more into the i3 - 6100
I may be able to find it for $60-90 second hand

what would be a good mobo combo to go with that?
