Here is my current setup:

GIGABYTE GA-990XA-UD3 AM3+ AMD 990X + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.4 GHz Socket AM3 125W HDZ965FBGMBOX Processor
XFX Radeon R9 270X DirectX 11.2 R9-270X-CDBC 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 2x 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL
Antec EarthWatts EA750 750W Continuous Power ATX12V version 2.3 SLI Certified CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC "compatible with Core i7/Core i5" Power Supply
NZXT Phantom PHAN-001BK Black Steel / Plastic Enthusiast ATX Full Tower Computer Case
SSD for Windows
SSD for games
Some HDS for storage

Should I upgrade my processor and gfx card or should I get a new rig? I'm not liking the performance so much anymore

Budget: $2000
More specific use (what games, what programs): Many instances of Eve Online across 3x monitors, Fallout 4, Star Citizen, Minecraft, Factorio, watching TV on one monitor while playing games on another
Planned time until purchase: immediate but could wait a few weeks if something cool is coming out
Do you need an Operating System?: i think so?...im currently running windows 7
Do you have any specific preferred components?: graphics card that easily allows me to run 3 monitors
Do you need a sound or wireless card?: no
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?: stock
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: no
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 90014/los angeles

Thanks!

Well most of your stuff is good to go.
I'd just purchase new cpu/mobo/ram.
and a new case if you want that and re-use everything else. and/or maybe get 1 SSD for games and windows if that would be convenient.

agreed
with that budget and nn for peripherals you could get a very nice upgraded/new build
always nice to have spare parts for troubeshooting or temporary replacements if something goes awol

or just another rig for somethin else

can still upgrade to w10 for free no? if so you can do that from current w7 or just rock w7 for time being

what about Tustin microcenter in orange county for mobo/cpu combo? looks like 35mi one way on interstate 5, bout an hour from ya? could be an option

secksii posted a vn build to work off of too
