I am putting a computer together for my wife and looking at some builds.

It is a similar budget to this.

Here is what I have

You could get with the hyper212 cooler to save a few bucks. You could also save some money on the case. Otherwise it is pretty close to your budget.

All ram comes with a lifetime warranty. there is no such thing as "bad quality ram" unless you're interests are to OC it, so that's fine.
As for mobo, it's fine. There is a clear separation between "features" and "quality" and this board is perfectly fine quality with very few features.
if you get past the stupid part of your brain that says "buy with the most features" (it exists, i promise :P ) you can save a lot money.

Here is my entry. i didn't look up that thermaltake PSU and I personally dislike the source 210 case, as it has no front usb 3.0 panels and is kinda ugly. Went for i7 to help on video editing and for editing you also basically require 1 ssd and an hdd. 16gb ram will also help as well.

Just used this DIY PC case, i really liked it actually.

edit: threw in some 3000 ram instead of 2133. the speed of your ram again, will help your video editing.

Yeah, I suppose we are just talking personal preference on micro atx vs ATX. I just always feel like a micro atx will look cramped if you have a window on your case.

That isn't too bad. BitFenix has a really cool matx case out right now.

Scratch that, it was this case I was thinking about.
