Came up with this, my budget is around $900 cnd without monitors/OS and stuff.

Purchasing probably today, but since i had an extra 170 not sure what would be best for me, I am looking to use it for high end gaming and graphics rendering.

My main question is should i invest the extra into an HDD and then maybe a bit more to GPU or CPU? or is it better to just forgo a HDD right now, 250 gbs of space will last me a fair bit, i store a lot of stuff on a 1TB external I have.

Thanks for any input guys, much appreciated

In Canada, I do not think that $900 will not be enough for a high end gaming and rendering rig. I guess it depends how "high end" we're talking.

you should avoid case/psu bundles, generally cuz the psu are pure trash. It may be okay if it's used just for emails, simple tasks but i wouldn't bother trying to game with it.
