JKust get a Windows CD key from Kinguin for $30, and download the Windows 10 Pro x64 .iso

Better motherboard, overclockable CPU, better HDD.

/ee I don't know if you need a power supply or not...but this build has a good one added...

Don't really wanna overclock.. never done it before either so don't feel I need to. Can save like 100 ish $ for a bit worse processor and cheaper mobo

Yeah you can, but it's kinda silly. A year from now, when some tougher game comes out..instead of having to build a new comp, you can just overclock a bit. It's not that hard.

Up to you ofc.

/e The 6600K CPU is only $13 more, and that motherboard you picked is only $77 USD.

I've watched a lot of ppl build comps..I've built tons myself...in U.S. prices, I've found that ppl have less problems with $150 USD and up motherboards.

The ASUS board I picked has shown it's quality on hundreds of builds. It can run SLI vid cards (if you ever decide to do that)...etc.

/ee The build you made will work...(assuming you already have a power supply). But why limit your future ability to upgrade.

Get windows 10 from kinguin for 30$ and invest the other 85$ towards a 1080. Which will run every game at 144+ FPS at max settings if you have a good monitor.

Or invest it towards a monitor that is at least 120hz+ which will make gaming much more enjoyable. trust.

The build overall is really solid, Just for the sake of making sure you get THE best value for what you want is admirable.
If you want to future proof it, take the windows 10 savings and get a 1080. And think about a K edition CPU, just because you don't want to overclock now doesn't mean you feel the same way in 2 years when you want to unlock 20% more cpu performance for free.

Or you could put it towards good headset and a extra case fan ect.
