I noticed the new 1060's come out, and at a decent price. Will a 1060 work in my system, and how big of performance increase will I see?

Thanks again Ghot.

All I need for my system is a SSD and 1060. I'll consider going to 1440p when the new intel chips are matured, and when the new titan comes out.

I'm kinda confused by this.
Why will wait for 1440p monitor till skylake is older and when titan X 2 comes out?
Seems like totally different things to me.

The 1060 is going to basically double the 670

The cpu will bottleneck some performance gains if you leave it at stock.

You already have a decent cooler that can handle a decent oc.

Here is guide on how to do it http://youtu.be/MckeAmnDeTk

General rules for long term safe overclocking is never let your CPU go over 80c or 1.4v on air cooling.
