Including operating system.
Needs a dvd drive, and a SSD if budget allows(if not will add it later).
Also need a suggestion for a monitor(not included in the budget).
Will be playing just WoW.

the 4gb 480 is $300 cad.

get a copy of windows from kinguin for $20. and the build is at $790 based on prices right now.

you could also downgrade the ssd from 240gb to a 120 and spring for an i5.

but if it's literally for wow it's fine.

Ok, that's $470 total, there's no GPU?
What's the performance difference in the i3/i5/i7? I thought WoW was cpu heavy?
Also what's the difference between AMD and Intel?

I guess the I5 would be ideal.
But your budget is to low considering its CAD.

AMD has HORRIBLE Instructions per cycle. which means some games actually takes a hit in FPS. We are talking about 30% FPS FX8350 vs i3 6100.

Because pc part picker does not list any 4gb 480's in stock.

thats why i said it costs $300 cad

Oh ok, I see what you did there.

If I were to bump to i5 which would I want? And will it make that much of a difference?
Also what about fans for the case?

An i5 4460 would cost 50$ more even as the cheapest relatively new i5 available right now.

It would remove any real CPU bottleneck and make it into a more well rounded computer for modern titles and content creation.

The case comes with 1 fan. Maybe grab one other to intake at the front 2 fans will fine fine for builds that don't over clock

I know it feels like we are pulling you to break your budget. But an i3 and a 480 would crush wow.
