On a build like that, it's almost a waste, not to get the 6700K. Also, you really don't want to go below 28" or more, for a 4K monitor.

/e ...and yeah, don't get a Founder's Edition GTX 1080.

This is the only place I can find the graphics card available.

Is it worth paying more for this or do the founders edition and that one work the same?

The 1080s go in and out of stock all the time. Just find it on Newegg or w/e and set it to auto-notify.

As for the screen, 27-28" is fine, I would look for a 1400p 27".

I got a really nice 24" Dell 4K a while ago...text, like the controls on some programs were just way too small. Just like the File, Edit, View buttons on Windows ...windows.

/e I sent it back 3 days after it arrived. It kinda felt like I was using binoculars backwards. :/

/ee If you want a decent price on the vid card...and intend on getting an EVGA...just make an acct and set one of these to auto-notify.

~NEVER~ Use newegg's auto-notify. It's EXTREMELY Broken. Majority of the time it wont send ANY alerts, Until like 3 months after you hit 'notify me'

Those cards are available, for ridicualous prices. It seems etailers have bought them all up and raised the price.

Lotta ppl like the Strix...just see what the lowest price you can find is...it should be approx. $670.

This site may help: https://www.nowinstock.net/computers/videocards/nvidia/gtx1080/

/e Seems to be in stock: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814126106

/ee 27" 1440p monitors: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=50001146%2050001315%2050001583%204814%20600012694&IsNodeId=1&Description=144Hz%20monitors&bop=And&Order=PRICE&PageSize=30

There are others, but these were the easiest to find.

/eee Also, if you live anywheres near a Micro Center, you can great deals on motherboard/CPU purchases...maybe more.
