A used i7-4790 is ~$300, and 2x used Strix 980 Ti are ~$700.

I'd probably get a newer motherboard and some better RAM, but it seems pretty OK to me. You'd also probably want a SSD for your OS.

If you're lazy and don't want to build yourself, this seems not too bad for $1300 shipped. I'd try to talk him down to a little bit since you'll probably want to make some improvements here and there.

It's pretty cute looking! Really the internals are pretty good, and it's really not a bad price unless I'm missing something.

Just make sure there's no leaks / everything works. $1300 for sli 980 ti's with a custom loop is pretty damn good.

Probably about that in water cooling items alone.

Do you know how to maintain a custom loop?

If you feel comfortable dealing with a custom loop, Draining & replacing the coolant every 6-12 months, Then buy the PC. It's a damn good deal IMO

Just make sure it all works before you buy it.
