NICE !! ...now just put the fan on the RAM side of the CPU cooler, and you're good to go. :D

CPU cooler fan, should be "push" and be on the RAM side.

For "one fan" setups, the fan should be on the side with the green check mark...and be "pushing" the air towards the rear of the case.

Reason: With it set up the way you have it...the heatsink will catch all the dust, rather than the fan (which is much easier to clean than the heatsink)
On the Hyper 212 EVO, the fan(s) come off easily, just two clips.

This is why you want the fan on the RAM side...set up as a push fan. :)

Altogether though...GREAT job !!!

/e It's easy to fix. Just un-clip the fan...put the brackets on the other side, then clip it back on to the heatsink. :)

/ee Actually, just get two of these, and set them up as push/pull for best cooling...

Here's a test with push vs. push/pull....

http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/730982-Hyper-212-Evo-push-vs-push-pull-results

His 12C idle temps, are core temps rather than package temps (AMD).

/e The number to take from all that is...10 - 11C cooler with push/pull vs. just push. :)

/ee I had same results with my Hyper 212 EVO...but no longer have the pics. :(

those 2 fans you said to get, they don't have clips that clip into the heat sink like the current fan has, how does that work?

Now I need to decide on a headset with a mic to buy and a mouse. Maybe a new keyboard too, but haven't decided on that one yet.

edit: also could I just go get any 120mm fans? Best buy sells a few down the street for like $7 each and I wouldn't have to pay shipping and/or wait for them if I just go buy them today after work.

The clips and plastic brackets for mounting the fan(s) come with the Hyper 212 EVO - (probably still in the box)...there is even more rubber triangles in there too.

As for the fans...I would just get the CM ones I linked. Cooler Master recommended them..and I have been using them 24/7 for 3 years now.
