There is an electronics store that has these in stock for 699.99$ 80 miles from my house. I have not upgraded my monitor in over 8 years and recently built a new machine last year and I think I can handle the 2k and the 144+ hz.
4790k
980 ti
32 gb ram
Just curious as I have wanted the 144hz since the first 24 inch came out but I also want to future proof it. Anyone gone from the 24 inch 1k to the 27 2k? Was it grandiose?
I could also buy 2-3 smaller monitors at 200-300 a piece but I have never tried multi monitor setups and I am not sure if I would like it.

You'll need a second 980 ti to hit 144 fps on 1440P at max settings.
It's a nice monitor, however I'd say go for the acer panel (tends to be cheaper)

I haven't bought a monitor online but I do everything else do I might give it a go. All the bad reviews about back light bleed and dead pixels have me worried.
