Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?: i have a 144hz monitor, don't have keyboard or mouse but probably buy that myself

Sorry completely computer ignorant, just want to throw away this pos 5 year old laptop and get a desktop that i can play games in good quality that wont need to be upgraded for awhile, but is able to be upgraded easily.

Well with the combo discount..why not? That, and it's a far better board.

I always include Optical drives. I like them, if person doesn't want, they can edit it out of the parts list.
