Is there anything else I could replace on this build to make it better perform while still keeping it around 1000 usd?

My brother is saying 120 gb ssd is useless because that would fit like maybe 3 games on it so I should get more gb, wondering any thoughts on this?

Don't get less than 250GB SSD. When you're not looking...they fill up. ;)

Sounds good, everything else good for a build? I'm looking for options for more cases because I'm not a fan of its aesthetics lol

Are you addressing the OP? No you aren't. Does the OP deserve to be treated like he doesn't exist? No he doesn't.

@OP ...that case is far better built, comes with all the frills, like dust filters, covers for the fan spaces you don't use...etc.
As for the other parts, just swapped out some of what you had selected for ones that seem to have far less issues.

Sounds great the case looks a lot more sleek

I'll definitely look more into what u picked out and see what I can squeeze budget wise

Will the power supply be efficient enough for the 1070?

The PSU you picked or the one I picked will be fine. The reason for my choice was: fully modular and the innards are made by Seasonic. If you ever plan to run two vid crads...then get an 850w with Seasonic innards.

For RAM I always choose Corsair Dominators...but that's pretty expensive. 2nd choice would be G Skill. Never seen anyone have an issue with those either.

HDD's I always choose WD Blacks. They are fast and don't break. I've got like 8-10 of them.

SSDs...the ones that are 250GB or more are faster for some reason. As for size, I've watched 100's of ppl buy 60 and 120GB SSDs, and then in a year or so...replace with 250GB or larger.
