Hey computer builders!
I'm heading away to school in a month and looking for a decent laptop that will be able to handle watching videos and writing notes and using Excel. I'm on a cheaper budget since I'm going to school of $400.
Is there any laptops that comes to mind that are off the shelf ready in this budget?

Not too familiar with excel i assume?

Op:
When u say videos, are we talking streaming or not?

Something with 1920x1080 reso (14"+)
At least 4th gen dual core i5, so for example 4200u/5200u/6200u
Preferably 150+ssd if ure streaming movies, otherwise 500+ hdd

My windows phone isnt friends with newegg, but something like that should be $450 without sales. Should be able to get below 400 on sale.

I'm looking for something that will be fast and not have to wait a few seconds to open an application.

And for videos i mean streaming game of thrones and all that.

I'm fairly new when it comes to laptops and what i should be looking for in regards to speeds and CPU's and all that stuff.
