I'm currently looking to upgrade, but not too sure which route would be best to go.
Budget: ~$350 per monitor, ideally, have $1k to work with
Current GPU: GTX 970
Future GPU: GTX 1080


Options:
144hz 1080p
60hz 1440p


I play League of Legends, Diablo 3, lots of single player games, and going to be playing Overwatch when it comes out.
Would I be best with just sticking to 60hz if I don't plan on playing games like CS:GO?
& if I plan on getting a GTX 1080, would g-sync even be necessary at that point?
I was thinking about getting 2 Qnix monitors, but I keep getting mixed reviews

acer less quality problems then asus but asus overall a bit better

or just go for benq 1440p 60hz its cheap like 400$

My vote is the QNIX.

The Dual Link DVI version is the one that OC's to 96-120hz~

1080 + 3 qnix in surround would be legit.

asus mg279q, don't buy into gsync until it matures

plus 1440p 144hz gsync is fucking pricy, ips or not

asus 1080 144hz
for when u become a real gamer
spend rest on a 4k 60hz
if u have enough 1 with gsync

so u can be a real gamer
and then enjoy 4k eyecandy
with your 1080
