any of you guys using fan controller , are they essential , which ones do you recommend if any

Fan controllers are not essential, they are used mainly to deal with the noise fans make. You can simply get quiter fans that still do the same job, or as you have realized...a fan controller.

Fan controllers are as essential as a razer sticker.

Do you like them? Buy them, use them.
Do you need them? Most likely not.

My r4 chassi have a little lever with 3 levels built in for fan control. If i freeze, i just put it at max meanwhile playing heavy games, and the computer just works as a heater usually keep it at lowest however, but i find no more practical use than that of a fan control atm (worth to say is that i have 6 chassi fans attached to it)

nzxt sentry 3 is really sweet get a case with alot of space like the obsidian 750d airflow and enjoy it infront of the panel

put back fan 100% front 80% etc etc easy to use cheap and looks awsome

Or you can get high performance fans, Put them down to 50%~ Get the same noise/CFM as the low noise fans & Be able to crank them up while gaming/etc.



You're as useful as a razer sticker.



If you dont have a ton of fans to deal with, Try the NZXT Grid+ i think its called. Its a software based fan controller that you can just install hidden in your case.

my case is a thermaltake level 10gt so plenty of room , Ill be using corsair 120 and 140mm fans

both can go front of your pc in a driver bay

FedOx thinks razer stickers are essential.
They are not.


Felt the need to clarify. Don't need them unless you have a lot of fans and/or have noise issues.
