friends wanting a $1.2k cad laptop for school to be used for gaming, but i cant pinpoint one thats solid enough cause im not looking hard enough,
can someone post some top laptops for 1.2k? i7, probably a gtx 965-970m? 8gb ram, probably 750+gb ram, doesnt matter. ssd is a bonus.

go on newegg. look for laptops. select your budget and there are like 10 to choose from that have a 960m.. no 965m fits the budget

honestly though unless he doesn't have a desktop it would make more sense to get a laptop without a gpu and just an i5 or something.
it will be much lighter, won't get as hot, and the battery life will be better.

budget can probably go to 1.3ish 1.4
