Don't really want to wait for the new ones to come out as they will probably just be sold out for a while and I need to get rid of this 270x

With that said. I'm stressing the fuck out over which 970 to buy

I can't decide between:

Gigabyte G1 Gaming
ASUS Strix
Evga SC
MSI Twin Frozr Gaming 4G

I literally can't decide. I've read horrible reviews on the MSI card just because of their customer support

I fear the STRIX might be too big for the case

I've heard the Gigabyte shows up DOA a lot more than normal

And I've read the EVGA has massive coil whine

Idk which to pick.

Just cause.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131676&cm_re=r9_390x_devil-_-14-131-676-_-Product

I have the MSI/CORSAIR combo GTX 980ti. I use an MSI gaming laptop. All brands are fine. Get one based on dollar amount/sales discounts and decent reviews. If shit send back and get another.

had evga 970 hybrid for 3 months now
no coil whine yet

i did massive research on 970s before buying one
gigabye and msi are the ones that are held in highest regard
msi for best fan cooling
gigbyte for best performance
or could be switched around i forgot
i only got evga because they supposedly have the best customer support and are the only ones who made the hybrid 970s

any of the cards could have coil whine or arrive doa.. I would base it more off the customer service in case you do have an issue since it seems you found something negative about all of them. well except the STRIX but you could easily measure to see if it will fit or not.

generally I have only heard good things about EVGA customer service

I've had too many problems with AMD, so getting them again probably won't happen for a long time, if ever.
