diffrent SSD, the kingston is very very slow. Other SSD read more then twice as fast and write 3 times faster for about the same price.
you dont need thermal paste as it is included in the cooler. Also you should not use conductive paste unless you really really know what your doing and have done it a lot of times.
r9 390 > gtx 970. Both retail around the same price, but the r9 390 does not struggle with the VRAM in newer titles.
If you want to overclock your CPU to the maximum and still have your computer run quite i would maybe invest into a larger cooler. ->
