hello :santa:

i recently got a newer pc with a modern video card (980 ti) and my old monitor still is in use. only thing is i would need to use the VGA to DVI adapter on the DVI socket of the video card to plug the monitor into it.

i was wondering (and sorry if this is a stupid question), but do you think the use of such an adapter on a modern video card is no big deal or would it cause a degradation of some kind in quality of the image perhaps or something of that nature?

e. just noticed most likely posted this in the wrong section :S sry

The gpu can only display what the monitor is capable of. So it will be no different in quaility then before with higher frames.
Being as its only input is VGA its best to get a new monitor with a DVI port.
