First mistake right there

I'd go with the 980 but that's just me.

Im not about to spend that much on something i can upgrade later when i decide to upgrade mobo and cpu together.

I run an oculus rift on my rig so I was thinking in terms of performance needed for that type of gaming.

If i could afford that i'd definitely be going the i7 route lol. but ive talked to a few people on partpicker and buildapc and it sounds like i can oc this to 5 or just under with no problems
