My regular hdd is slowly dying.

I saw Samsung had a 256 gb for 80$ on Amazon. Worth it?

What all will I have to do when I get it to transfer my OS and path of exile and some other programs?

Need to clone your data over to your SSD when you buy it.

Also, might as well just go for a 500 GB if they're that cheap right now.

Still it's a good deal.

Yeah I figured that, was looking at reviews. Barely any true difference between evo and Pro when it comes to personal PC use.

150$ for 500 is actually nice.

I snagged myself a 250 GB EVO SSD. The speed improvement is amazing. You never notice how much your HDD is bottlenecking the speed of your PC until you upgrade to SSD.

I thought about getting a 500 GB first, but I concluded that I can always add on another 500 GB later if I needed, so I stuck with an SSD.
