More specific use (what games, what programs): Heroes of the storm, GTA 5, need for speed most wanted 2005, d3, d2
Planned time until purchase: 2 months from now
Do you have any specific preferred components?: Preferably intel will take AMD tho
Do you need a bigger monitor? mouse? full keyboard?: If desktop idea need monitor mouse and keyboard

Well at 500 dollars you're pretty limited for those games...
Are you open to a custom built desktop or are you only looking at something prebuilt?

for a laptop you're looking at something like this

you really just want to look at the GPU inside. The processor will generally always be good enough, since they dont usually pair a dedicated gpu with junky processors.
Note thats gtx 940m, if you can find a 950m in your budget thats obviousy better, but i wouldnt go lower

Will these 4 sure run it? but i am looking for prebuilt unless i have to build it i do have a couple friends who r willing to help and yea if u got a desktop idea u can toss it at me man ill take any advice ive told Desktop 4 life but i like the mobility bcuz i do go travelling occasionally

Yes, in that link I posted you can scroll down to see GTA 5 runs at medium settings, 720p, 50+fps, so im sure you could do some tweaking and get decent frames at 1080p.

If you want a comparison in power, the desktop will be about 325% stronger than your laptop (comparing fire strike graphics scores) and will run cooler. thats why you have the "desktop for life" situation going on :P
