Considering the cost/performance value, is the Samsung 850 EVO still a really genuinely effective SSD to go with?

I know the difference between the EVO and PRO is borderline none.

edit: a little intoxicated atm, not sure if I posted this under the right board or not, sorry.

The Pro is a bit better than the EVO, but it's also more expensive.

The Samsung 850 EVO 250GB, is the SSD to get, considering price/performance.

yes.

Was thinking of the 850 EVO 500-1T.

I currently have a 250GB 840 EVO I believe and it does wonders itself, but it's low on space so I was thinking of getting something else.

From what I've looked into, the difference between 850 PRO and EVO is nonfactor. You can't really tell.

Yeah, the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB is fine. It'll be as fast as the 840 is...actually slightly faster.
