just finished my build:

EVGA 1300w g2 supernova
i7 5820k
msi x99a sli plus
2x r9 390x
vengeance 2x8 2400mhz

just mounted the cpu cooler and put the power cable into the psu and turned it on, fans were going fully for 4 sec~ then boooom!
smoke from the psu and some poop into my pants.

but why does this happen to me
i know i should have tried the psu without anything plugged in but is there a reason not to trust EVGA

how are you able to connect cables wrong lols.
24 pin mb and 8pin cpu only goes to 1 place
4x 8pin for gpus
and 1 sata
all cables are labeld so is the outputs on the psu.

i guess i cant just swap to a corsair psu without swapping the cables.

tho i could just swap out the 24 pin + 8 pin for motherboard + cpu and see if it starts
