Now when i start my pc it says press any button to skip disc checking give me a few seconds to do so disk checking does nothing when i finally get the laptop started its slow and ussally freezes up its a brand new lap top from walmart my c drive is corrupted how do i resolve this?

I'd do a memtest; it isn't uncommon for ram to be shitty.
