Posted a request for a build here a couple of years ago and got a reliable build from a guy named saintvalentine, so I'm back to hear some suggestions on my upcoming purchase.

More specific use (what games, what programs):

Witcher 3, FF14

Planned time until purchase:

Later today or tomorrow

Do you need an Operating System?:

No

Do you have any specific preferred components?:

I know that new GPUs from Nvidia are coming out soon, so I'd prefer an EVGA GPU for the step up option if the new GPUs arrive in the 90 day timeframe.

Do you need a sound or wireless card?:

No

Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:

I don't plan on overclocking

Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:

I will be reusing all three of these. My monitor is 1080p/60hz

Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

60629

Additional information:

I will also be reusing my relatively new Corsair HX 750 powersupply, my hard drive and optical drive.

If an SSD would help decrease the load times in FF14, then I would be interested in getting one. I don't really need much more storage though, since I usually prune my hard drive of stuff I don't use/play anymore.

So what I need is:

CPU
GPU
Motherboard
RAM
Case
SSD (Maybe)
And... what am I missing?

Budget: ~$1,000

Budget is not really firm, I just want the best I can get with around that much money, while serving my purposes extremely well.

Thanks in advance guys,

If you dont want to wait for the next generation grafic card then you might just get a 970. At 1080p 60Hz you will not have any fps problems in the forseeable future.
Also do you really need a optical drive? If so you might have to choose a different case, since the one i took does not have any 5.25'' bays.
Also i hope your not mad that its a MSI GPU. Could not find any EVGA ones that would fit the color sheme.

Add SSD later..

Why do you keep posting the same build in every topic without even reading the topic?
