So my labtop just decided to give out recently and I
Figured it was time I get my toes wet and build my own pc.. Im really just a casual gamer so running games on lower settings isn't a big deal to me.. But let me know what y'all think.

You cheaped out to much on the CPU. Get at least a i3 6100.
Also if you want a cheap PSU without much quality compromise get one of the semi modular models from evga.
An aftermarket cooler is not needed when you get a i3 since they run very cool anyway.

Also a ssd will give you a greatly better overall experience, but if you budget is really that tight it is not mandatory.

I think this would of been better overall for you and $20 cheaper

-Intel Pentium G3258 instead of AMD Athlon X4 860K (Better Processor) for $7 more, however you save $27 on mobo.
-240GB SSD instead of 1TB HDD (Better Hard Drive) for $14 more (If you need more space just add 1TB HDD later)
-R7 370 4GB vs GTX 750 Ti 2GB for $37 more, but worth the price jump as it is a newer and better gfx card
-Changed the case to a $13 cheaper one, this you should of gone with something really cheap, the cheaper the better.
-PSU changed to another 600W one from EVGA that is better, it is bronze certified as well but not semi-modular, but this shouldn't even matter as your system won't be on display and your case doesn't have a window.
You just need to do a decent cable management when you would of installed the system and that is all.

You really think that Intel would be better then the quad core I was looking at? And I'm still not too sure what's the purpose of the ssd? Does it load up windows faster or something?

Yes the intel chip is faster, and the ssd would load Windows, Games, Run programs, Install Programs, Read and Write files a lot faster.
