Question: Are u gonna need more than 8gb right now?
Settle yourself with 16gb man. When and if u gonna need more, buy that later cuz its going to be cheaper with time

At least 5 years before pure gaming will need more than 16

Yes, the board will take 32GB. 16GB is the new sweet spot.

You will have to do your own research on VR requirements...it's still too new.

Skylake doesn't support Quad Channel.

This only dual channel at the moment, so you will not get a performance increase just total amount increase.
If it did support quad channel you would only get a 3-8% performance increase anyways.
16GB way more then enough at the moment, just get 2x8GB for now and it will suffice and in the future if you are maxing out your RAM usage add another 2x8GB sticks.
