this is what i ended up getting

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/blunderwonder2/saved/#view=8ny6Mp

i actually got an MSI sc version of the 950, but i put that in there cause newegg had a pricematch thing so i put that one in there so i could keep an eye on the price since they were the same amount.

Ive done a bit of research with the h81 chipset thing is almost 99% not a problem, and if it is, ill deal with that then. So far ive seen a few other peopls builds on pcpartpicker and they had no problems.

but the stuff is starting arive in the mail and im remembering why i kind of wanted to buy a prebuilt in the first place, cause all this static guarded plastic and stuff is starting to look complicated, espeicaly since theirs not as many wires yet as i thought theyred be :(

im still waiting on everything newegg, they are surprisingly going to be the last to arrive, everyone else shipped in a hurry. Im wiating on the video card/case/ram/mouse

Also i need to know if this is the "cheap" kind of windows or a rip off, it seems legit but i want to ask you guys first

ill have some more questions hopefully on monday when the final box arrives

h81 isnt going to be an issue, I have used them for Pentiums, i3s and i5s np.
as for windows, that is legit, but you can get a cheaper copy from Reddit's Microsoft Software swap, about 20 bucks for a copy -- just as legitimate, save yourself some money.

And dont let the static guard stuff get you scared, you'll be fine :)
The static guard is just to protect it during shipping.
if you end up needing help when all the parts come in and you can't figure it out with youtube, let me know and we can do a facebook/skype video call.

ty thats reassuring :P, I have seen the reddit software swap thing, most of it looks legitimate but the copies are like 30 bucks there i think, i figured for an extra 15 or 20 i can avoid any potential nonsense, i havnt bought windows yet cause i had planned on just downloading it and then buying a key from reddit like you said but that amazon copy is clsoe to the same deal. we'll see i guess.

everything shud be here in the next 2 or 3 days, so i have another question more in preparation with regards to software.

assuming everything goes smoothly and i can get it to install windows and boot, i will then install things like mbam, adwcleaner, ccleaner, the hwmonitor programs, speedfan, firefix and adblock and some other crap that ill want. But! i need a freeware that lets me make recovery cd and a backup, like the .tib ones. I have one on this pc but it came with it, and im not sure the cd will let me install it on a new pc. its called "acronis trueimage" if any of you are familiar its basically a program that lets you make an image of your system, and put it on an external, then if your hd goes bad or you corrupt ur windows or something, you can put in the recovery cd, and it runs a program at boot that lets you plug in your external and just rewrite the whole image of your system, or it even has an option to just overwrite your MBR if thats what you mucked up, also its useful in just copying files from dead harddrives and the like. If any of you know of a freeware like that please let me know, or if you have other softwares that you typically put on a new pc.

what kind of windows did you buy? usually you only get a key via e-mail and you download windows.
Also you can already download and install windows. The activation can be done later.

Western Digital has a free copy of Acronis True Image backup software, which is the backup software that makes .tib files.

for legit Windows 10 copy for $21.18, it's guaranteed to work and very legitimate website.
Also, if you do run into a problem which less then 1% of people do, they will refund you or give you a new key.
You can install windows now and start using your PC now and I would just send back the other one sealed.
I've bought over 15 copies through them and haven't had any problems at all.
