should i wait for pascal gpu and 6800x cpus

they should com out this year prob october would be the best bet


i wanna invest around 2.5k us in a good rig and i feel like if i buy now it would be basicly upgradable items withing less then 6-7 months


also i have a rig that can bring me to next year


i know every 1-2 year new stuff comes out but since i wanna game at 1440p 144hz i feel like waiting is the best option right now

I mean if you have a good rig now waiting is hands down the best option.
AMD and nvidia releases new cards and if history holds true, AMD should out-perform Pascal, shaking up the market and offering you some really good options for prices. (even if they dont, it should still bring prices down on something like a 980 ti)
additionally, Zen should also do the same. :D

If your system performs well now, and you have no issues with it You should keep using your system.
You should keep using your system as long as performance is good and not bothering you.
The only reason you should upgrade is if your system is suffering and not performing as well as you would like or you have someone that will buy your old system for a decent price and you can use that money towards a new system.

i kinda wanna stream and play at 1440p 144hz but if pascal etc comes this year i think i might wait

if not prob gona go for 5930 with 980 ti
