could you give us an online retailer that we could use? I know certain European markets have different pricing.

It depends on the software he is using. Usually AMD cards are better in OpenCL performance, but some technologies like IRAY is only supported by nvidea cards. So the best way to build the computer is to check what programms your going to use, and then check their forums to see which hardware suits it best.

ps, in design, illustrator will run okay on a 4gb card, however the higher the gb on video the better, ( for rendering purposes )...

which would be better from parts picker Deutschland, uk, or italia? as those are the only options on partspicker.com

Okay these are the first priorities so i guess for the price the card is ok.
What i don't know if the mobo/cpu combo is alright. i mean i've seen so many motherboards with the z170 chipset which of them "fits" better on that cpu?

Keeping some things from that build in mind.but way off budget :(

Okay let me explain something guys.
This also is a reply to canadian_borns question.
The link i posted on my first post is the Google Translation link for pc hardware section of www.skroutz.gr which is a search engine for pretty much everything from shops all over greece.
The first shop in post #4 is also listed in skroutz.gr and the second one is ok but not too cheap and sucks in after market also.
I pretty much selected everything from a shop listed in skroutz.gr got some of the cheapest prices here in greece and located in my city.
That's the google translate link
https://translate.google.gr/translate?hl=en&sl=el&u=http://www.visionstudio.gr/&prev=search

as i said i'll prefer to use the greek market so if u please could look for solutions on those two translated links,i know it sucks on sometimes :P
thanks for your time guys :)

haswell/skylake is the difference from ddr3/4 if you want ddr4 you're going to be opting to pay more for the skylake cpu etc.. https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Haswell-vs-Skylake-S-i7-4790K-vs-i7-6700K-641/

there isnt that much of a differencee to validate spending the 75+euro difference in price between the haswell and skylake build.. but if you want to go skylake expect to be paying 1000+euro..

i know its far from within your budget, but this is what i use to do photo/video editing, along with personal gaming, music composition, and dj private parties with.. just to give you an idea of whats needed if you arent buying a MAC for the intentional purpose of illustrator and ps etc.. ive spent well over $6000, CAD on this setup so far, and im still far from done..
