Just getting into programming and would like to have a light weight, portable, but powerful enough for c++ coding and other languages.

My current laptop is a Sager with i7, 780m, 500gb SSD, all the good stuff more than capable of handling this but just WAY too heavy/hot.

Any suggestions for an ultrabook? Don'y really want to break the bank (less than $1000).

What should I be looking for in an ultrabook? Like at least an i5?

Thanks!

Your looking for something like this: http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/inspiron-15-7568-laptop/pd?oc=smi157nw10ps005&model_id=inspiron-15-7568-laptop

But note that the i5 mobile processors are just dual core processors with hyperthreading. But it should be okay for surfing the internet plus some programming. As long as you are not trying to programming any monsters.
