A buddy is on a tight budget and needs a new motherboard and case
He's on a prebuilt manufactured computer with a couple parts I gave him.
he's running :
i5 3470 @ 3.2 ghz
8 gigs of ram
128 gb ssd
6850 HD
450w PSU?
I told him he should spend about $100 on a mobo and rest on a case.
I've also encouraged him to upgrade his PSU but he cheaped out with the one he has now a few months ago.

Use this motherboard and just pick a case within budget. There's not too many LGA 1155 motherboards left that are new so good luck finding one elsewhere. You could try the online auction site.
