In a few weeks I'll be getting some money, been looking around and can't seem to decide on a PC, as I'm not too knowledgeable about the entire thing.

Maximum you will spend? - $500
Will you complete mail in rebates? - nope
If so, may we go over-budget if rebates bring you within budget? - nope
Do you need Windows Operation System within budget? - no, I should be able to use the key I'm using on my current computer, right?
Need a Monitor? / Mouse? / Keyboard within budget? - looking for a 1920x1080 monitor, the rest no.

Specific Uses (Programs, game titles etc.) - world of warcraft, diablo 3, csgo, skyrim, path of exile
Country? - united states
Will you travel to NCIX (canada) or Microcenter (USA) for parts? (Null if unsure) - no

How much hard drive space do you want or need? - i'm using 500gb right now and it seems to be just enough.
Will you use wireless or wired internet? - wired
Will you overclock CPU and/or GPU? - haven't messed with that stuff, don't know much about it.
Any special requests or useful things to tell us? (Specific case, need lots of storage, audio etc.) - I want to try to get a SSD, but otherwise no.

Do you prefer any specific colors for the build/computer case? - nope
Do you prefer a window on your case? - don't care.

A 1080p monitor will set you back about 150$. Leaves 350$ for a computer. In my opinion it's not possible to build a gaming PC that can run all these games with that budget. Your best chance might be to buy a used one.

I can skip the monitor if need be. I have one right now I use that's 1360x768, an upgrade would be appreciated but not absolutely required.

You can find a monitor on CL for under $100 that's 1020x1080 usually, can save a bit of $$ that way. I would shoot for under $70 for it and 22+ inches, something around that would be fine as well. Always look up the monitor model number online and check for reviews on the product prior to meeting and make sure they can test it for you as well :)

$500 can get you a build that can run those games, just not that well imo, I'll come up with a build shortly

Also, can you download speccy @ https://www.piriform.com/speccy and post a screen shot so we can determine if anything is reusable? :)

ideally, you would reuse your hard drive + optical drive that is in your current pc :)
down the road you would add in a solid state drive and get a monitor

you would also download the windows 7 ISO directly from microsoft and mount it to a USB or dvd PRIOR to taking apart your current PC and moving the parts to the new computer so you can install win7 on the new machine :)

this is my current setup

also for a monitor I was looking at something like this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/aoc-23-6-led-hd-monitor-black/2590062.p?id=1219074364999&skuId=2590062

If it were still on sale by the time I bought everything. But that's not likely to happen with the $500 i'll be using for this. So maybe down the line.

Okay.

First: of all. The monitor is perfect. Low end PC's need low resolution monitors. If you are used to that resolution a new fullHD monitor will simply slice your fps in half.
Second: Reuse the case, the hard drive and the optical drive. This way you have enough budget to get a i5 and a gtx 950.

If your not doing mail rebates then go with an i3.
