i put the card onto the mother board and i plug it in from the power suply to the card.. when i turn it on the screen sais no input signal?

what causes this :S im hopeless with computers

you need to place the card in the top most slot.
i would reseat the card

also we need the specs of your computer, namely the power supply + cpu + gfx card to determine if your psu can even power the card :)

3.1hghz i5 the power suply has 500 on it :/ and idk on the card lol sorry and i think there is only one point to put the card i

Yeah even a crappy 500W power supply should run that...it requires 1x 6 pin PCI-E connector from the power supply to the card....make sure the card is fully seated and in the slot, closest to the CPU.

Also make sure you hooked the cable from the monitor.....to the card.


/e And make sure (if your monitor supports it) that you choose the correct input from the On Screen Display.

Since that card only has 2x DVI connectors, make sure the monitor has the INPUT set for DVI.

yeah i added the 6 pin and yes the cables where in.. maybe it wasnt sitting right.. ill try again :/

for the on board yes. i just plugged it in now and its working :/ guess it wasnt in propperly but now my desktop is all black i dont think i have the correct driver.. where would i get one? XD

What version of Windows are you running?

But your screen shouldn't be black either.
