I just got gifted a r9 380 gpu which I will be using.

Why get that case w/ psu,
Might not even fit his 380 let alone the 400w isnt safe enough cos quality will be pure shit

i havnt used rosewill in a fwe years.. guess their product went to shit.. used to be a good name.. guess not now; after looking into/research...

changed case/psu longest r9 380 ive found so far is 10.5" in length.. case has clearance of 12.6" for video cards..

I was looking into the processor and people are suggesting to go with an aftermarket cooler.

Also iso more options to choose from. I like the red theme this one has going if that would be a possibility to keep.

There is no reason to go for a older hasswell arcitecture anymore. It does not save much money and limits the possibility of upgreading in the future.

I don't plan to over clock, however are there any high quality red motherboards out there that are around my range?

mobo is black/red

450w seasonic psu is more than enough for ur 380/i5 6500 as u wont be overclocking.

for rams, feel free to change to this for looks
