I am looking to buy my partner an SSD for her computer. It does not need to be any larger than 128GB. It is going to be used for OS and one or two games at a time.
I live in New Zealand, so prices are fucked.
These look to be the best choices available:
Kingston SSDNow V300 120 GB - $74.00
Kingston HyperX Fury 120GB - $89.00
Samsung 850 EVO 120GB - $109.95
Is there any reason to not go with the cheapest option?

Pick up whichever is cheapest, there won't be any noticeable performance gains; Ofc if prices are close enough, go with the better brand.

if you are looking for life/$ go with the samsung 850 evo.. if you currently have a mechanical drive.. obviously set the pagefile to the mechanical.. to extend the life of the ssd even further..

[*]Samsung 850 EVO 120GB - $109.95
It's never a good idea to go with a low end SSD for your OS.
