If the fans attached to my heatsink stopped spinning, can I just got to best buy and buy some new fans and replace the olds ones or do I need to replace the whole heatsink/cpu cooler?

I was thinking I could just unscrew the old fans and pop on new ones from best buy like either of these:

and then I would be good to go?

If not, let me know what I should do please.

Thanks.

What cpu cooler do you have? If it's the stock one you can probably get a new one for 5$ or free off kijiji

Off the top of my head, I don't know. (not very good with computer hardware etc)

I do know it looks something like this: https://40.media.tumblr.com/694b1a871fde76ac850ff660403dfd9d/tumblr_inline_nlibr1LO9Q1swfls7_500.jpg

The fan attached to the big square stopped working and i unscrewed it and took it out. Was just wondering if I could screw a new fan in with a $5 - $10 fan from best buy or if I had to replace the entire cooler.
