Looking for a decent monitor to go with this.
also, any improvements to add and maybe drop the price without changing components/performance?
Need some major help with cooling, because i literally know nothing about cooling systems.

I kinda wanted to do a water build, but I dont know enough about it to buy the right parts and components.

that's a really cheap keyboard and mouse for such an expensive computer.
you can get windows from reddit's microsoftsoftwareswap for about 20 to 25 dollars.
what kind of monitor do you want? Are you gaming at 4k?

I dont suggest the msi z170 boards. They have issues with voltage / No settings to change v-droop / Bios glitches etc.

Skylake scales really well with higher speed ram, There's some ripjaws @ 3000mhz 15cas, Same cas as the 2400mhz you have in the list.

The 1kw psu is way overkill for one 980ti, But if you plan on sli down the road, its good.

You can always do an AIO cpu water cooler, pretty much just plug & play. like the nzxt x61 or corsair h110

What do you want in your monitor? 144hz? 1080p? Higher resolution? etc.

Eventually would like to upgrade to 4k/1440p from 1080p. But waiting a bit first.

Would love a super nice 1080p 144hz monitor for now. Maybe 4k at a later date.
I dont know how sure I am of getting SLI later, but I figure adding another 980Ti would advance my rig a few more years later.

I dont know too much about Mobos, so if you could reccommend a good one to fit into my build?

The reason I picked the mouse/keyboard I did was because I dont need a fancy gaming mouse, just a nice basic 2 button, scroll wheel. I actually dont like having all the buttons on my mouse.
I didnt feel like looking for a nice mechanical keyboard at the time and didnt want to jack the price up too much with things like that.
I'm open to reccommendations.

AIO cpu coolers, does that come with literally everything? liquid inside with fans and radiator? I wouldnt know anything about it.

Thanks for your time.

Added monitor to dexa's

yes aio includes everything. They are only about as good as the best air coolers though, if you ever care about performance.
and in my experience, replacing the stock fans on an AIO is usually a good idea, but not necessary.

I do want to dabble around in overclocking a little bit, just to try it out, nothing major.
Does that GPU and CPU suport that?
I dont know what the Hybrid means?

edit/ Also, didn't do much research on cases, if any input in that field, I like a nice, but simple design. But also enough room for upgrades in the future.

-All it means is it's got the water cooler on it. normal 980 ti's do not have an aio attached to it.
-All gpu's support overclocking.
-Since the K versions of intels processors support overclocking, the answer is yes.
-if you just want to dabble, you may want to consider A hyper 212 evo, it's a cheap and highly effective air solution, but obviously wont look as cool as water. (but its 1/4 the price if that matters)
-it's a fine case.

Prices could vary up to 20%. New hardware could come out.
