Hey CBD, today I'm looking around for a good laptop around #300-350
Budget: 300-350 USD
More specific use: Chrome, VLC, Eclipse (Windows please)
Planned time until purchase: 1-2 days
Do you have any specific preferred components?: N/a
Do you need a bigger monitor? mouse? full keyboard?: Full keyboard, preferably 15 inch, Touchpad, no touch screen. Battery life important.
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs): 20170 (US) - If it's Amazon I can get free shipping.

Thanks for any recommendations you have. :)

There isn't a whole lot of options at 300-350. That's about bottom of the barrel!
I'd keep your eyes peeled on anything with an i3 or i5 possibly.
Have a look on newegg or amazon. I would generally avoid Bestbuy and walmart, since their cheap laptops will be likely be lower value than amazon/neweggs cheap laptops, based on my experience.
I looked on newegg and actually found nothing in stock atm, so maybe want to give it some time there. ^^

Thanks for the input.

I ended up choosing an ASUS i3 at a cheaper price and then bought a RAM upgrade to take it to 8 GB, just in case anyone else is looking for cheap laptops
