not looking to upgrade computer immediately, may wait 1-2 months for either my tax return or a couple pay checks to come in.
Here is what i got currently.

-RAM - (2 sticks only)

- MOBO
i5-3570k - CPU (black friday sale)

- cpu cooler
i bought most of these in 2012 so they are starting to show their age a bit with newer games. I'm thinking about spending around 700-1k$ tops to upgrade it.
But i do know prices change so i am more interested in reliable products and i can keep an eye on to watch for a price decrease.
I have a large computer tower so space is not an issue inside. Also have 4 hd, 1 500gb ssd, 256gb ssd, 1tb hhd, 300 gb hd. However i am likely to transfer the data from the 256ssd to the 500gb because i just bought that and will arrive next week

I currently do not overclock as i have a paranoid fear of destroying my cpu, but i would like to possible in the future learn to.
please leave your suggestions/comments. I would love to be able to keep my RAM (i will buy another 2 sticks or more depending on mobo space) if possible but understand if not compatible with new mobo.
Shipping to 60563
Thanks.

i have the same cpu/mobo but with 212 evo
o/c'd at 4.2 ghz with ease
pm me if you have questions
i used this guide
http://www.overclock.net/t/1198504/complete-overclocking-guide-sandy-bridge-ivy-bridge-asrock-edition
should just throw money at a 390/980ti depending on how much you want to spend after the overclock
reason you're seeing a slow down is because your gfx card is so outdated, cpu is fine imo.
i have a gtx 970 and im good
probably won't build a new rig for another year or 2 depending on what games come out (next build will be themed
)
