ok so going to pick up a new pc monitor thats better than my old one
my old monitor

the one im looking at but whats the difference there both the same model but different price range?

Two different sellers, Those arent actually sold from newegg.
The $250 is out of stock.
Have you looked into the Acer, Or Qnix 144hz monitors? They're more in your budget.

I personally love my 144hz but if you dont have the spec's to push out 144hz on the games you want I dont see a very big point in getting it. If you play games like CSGO and League of legends I would say go for it. But if you play games like Darksouls(fps is broken going over 60 fucks with the physics) or Witcher III you wont be utilizing the 144hz

I used this to get an idea of the price of monitors. I spent $200 on a cheap 144hz if i had the chance I would be a nicer 144hz with freesync g sync.

yes i spent like 2k on the gaming tower 8 gigs ram intel i7 26k nvidia geforce gtx 580 3 gig its sorta old i purchased the parts back in 2011 is this good enough?

What games are you playing?
a 580 isn't going to do anywhere near enough on many modern titles.

Only if you are playing new games or somewhat new games. This will do something like league of legends or cs go at good enough frame rates.
